Welcome Week is back and better than ever! Students can experience a variety of events on both campuses during this two-week kickoff to the year. Whether you are a new student at DePaul or if you're returning, there is something for you to engage with and get connected with your fellow Blue Demons! Tips to Starting at DePaul

When are the bookstores open for me to buy books?

Lincoln Park Bookstore Hours:
Monday - Friday: 10 am - 3 pm
Saturday - Sunday: CLOSED

Loop Bookstore Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm
Saturday - Sunday: CLOSED

A tip for new book buyers: if you have courses on the Loop campus, you'll go to the Loop bookstore to buy your books. If your class is in Lincoln Park, your books will be at the Lincoln Park bookstore.

Do I need anything to attend Welcome Week events?

All you'll need is your DePaul student ID (for in-person events) or a device (cellphone, computer, laptop, etc.) to login to DeHub to access a link to the virtual events - this is your ticket to entering almost all Welcome Week events!

An RSVP is not required to attend most events; Events requiring an RSVP will say so in their event descriptions on DeHUB.

Is there a cost to attend Welcome Week events?

There is no cost for most Welcome Week events. Almost all Welcome Week events are free to all DePaul students!

I need my student ID - when is ID Services open?

The ID card offices will remain closed due to COVID-19. Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact the Help Desk.

I have mail in the Student Mail Center - when can I pick that up?

Please contact studentmailcenter@depaul.edu for inquiries regarding any mail or packages we may have for you.

Is there someone who can help me with setting up my technology?

The Technology Support Center (TSC) (technical support) is available help with wireless, ethernet, telephone and general questions.

When will DePaul Central be open?

Join DePaul Central in the Zoom Lobby for assistance from 9am – 12pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and 10am-12pm on Wednesdays.

Where and when can I eat on campus?

Your meal plan begins the day you move in to your residence hall, regardless of what day that is, or the first day of classes for commuter meal plans. Visit DePaul Dining Services for information about locations and hours.

Is there an app that can help me transition to being a student at DePaul?

iDePaul is our app, and it can be a big help to you on the go!
